Membership Qualification

Georgia Game Developers Association, Inc. is a non-profit trade association organized under Georgia Nonprofit Corporation Code to be tax-exempt under § 501(c)(6). Our membership includes corporations, professionals, and students having interest in the video and electronic game manufacturing industry of Georgia. Membership in the association is not exclusive to Georgia-based entities, as many companies, professionals, and students outside the state have vested interests in our state industry. Professional and Student members must be at least 18 years of age. Student members must be enrolled in a college program at the time of membership purchase or renewal. Indie members must be individuals at least 18 years of age doing business as a sole-proprietorship or must be incorporated businesses. All other members must be incorporated businesses. GGDA reserves the right to cancel any membership without refund for any reason.

Volunteer Membership Benefits

Georgia Game Developers Association is a volunteer organization through and through. If a volunteer doesn't do the work, it doesn't get done. As a result, you can make a big impact simply by volunteering to help. Volunteerism also drives our membership benefits. All those benefits listed below are "available" to our members. But, our members must specifically request those benefits to receive them. At some point in the near future, we hope to be large enough to employ a full-time staff member who can sit around making sure that every member takes advantage of every opportunity. But for now, we assume that you're going to watch out for your own interests and work with us to exercise the specific benefits that you want to enjoy.
