Our game audio shootout has always been a popular event, and this year ListenUp Audio has stepped up to host it. Bring your audio reel for pros from ListenUp, Wabi Sabi and others to review and give you feedback. If you are an indie dev, this is the best opportunity to find audio partners or develop your own game audio plan.

Panelists

Afshin Cohen, Wabi Sabi Sound

Afshin Cohen began his career in the games industry in 2004, creating music and sound on games like Monster Madness, Reich and Dungeon Defenders 1 & 2.  He formed and ran the audio teams at Artificial Studios, Ignition Entertainment and Trendy Entertainment before joining Wabi Sabi Sound as an Audio Director and Composer.  He is part human, part synthesizer.

Chris Rickwood, Team Audio

Chris Rickwood is a composer known for creating dramatic musical scores for video games and is currently serving as Music Director for Team Audio.  His past work ranges from catchy melodies underscoring fights with cartoon evil geniuses to massive soundscapes suitable for building and destroying empires.  Credits include Smite, Paladins, Brawlhalla, Age of Empires Online, Madden NFL, Orcs Must Die! series, Ghostbusters: The Videogame, and Tribes: Ascend.  He also serves on the board of the GGDA.

Cooper Skinner, Listen up Audio

Cooper Skinner is an award winning sound designer and composer. His work can be found in various digital media such as television, advertising, video games and online content. He has had the pleasure of working with companies such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, Hulu, FXX, TBS, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Dropbox and many more. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with his B.F.A and M.F.A. in sound design.
