GGDA-Atlanta Meeting June 10 at Emory
Atlanta Meetings
On June 10, GGDA-Atlanta kicks off a summer of health in gaming. Planning to take part in the SPSU Game Jam in June? Interested the Forge Hackathon in August? Or the next CDC Games For Health Jam?
Join us for a great opportunity, hosted by Jennifer Ann’s Group and the Forge accelerator. This sneak preview of the Jennifer Ann’s Group 2014 contest submissions will give you the inside scoop on what makes a game for health good. Is it the content? Is it how fun the game is? How do you know what you don’t know, as a developer, healthcare provider, or subject matter expert?
This meeting will help answer those questions, as well as give you a chance to talk to people working in healthcare who are interested in games.
6-7: Snacks and networking
7-8: Panel discussion by game industry developers, healthcare providers, and subject matter experts. Then see them play and comment on the top three entries.
8-9: Networking
Where: Emory School of Medicine, Room 120, 100 Woodruff Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322
Door proceeds for the evening will be donated to Jennifer Ann’s Group. This also serves as the first volunteer meeting for SIEGE2014.
