The GGDA has been invited to address the Georgia House Study Committee on Georgia-Based Film and Post-Production Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Media Complex in Norcross. Committee members are scheduled to discuss homegrown small studios, as well as post production below the $500,000 threshold to qualify for jobs creation tax credits.
The House Study Committee on Georgia-Based Film and Post-Production, created by House Resolution 1601, is chaired by State Representative Ron Stephens (R-Savannah). The committee is charged with reviewing the expansion of the Georgia-based film and post production industries.
