The GGDA offers a one-two combination of meetings this month, both focusing on the Global Game Jam happening later this month. Join GGDA-Athens Monday, Jan. 13, at Athens' new barcade Wonder Bar! We have plenty of things to discuss at this meeting, such as plans for the Global Game Jam and the next Athens Game Jam on February 28th - March 2nd. The meeting starts at 8 pm at 240 East Washington St, Athens, Georgia 30601

GGDA-Atlanta meets 6 pm Jan. 14 at SCAD-Atlanta, the Global Game Jam site. Join us to help plan, meet prospective team members, discuss technologies and listen to game jam strategies. The easiest way to get to the 4C Event Space is to enter the main building from the rear entrance located on the 2nd level of the free indoor parking deck. Attendees will need to have their photo ID ready and check in at the security desk by the rear entrance. Let security know you are t here for the "GGDA meeting hosted by Interactive Design and Game Development in the 4C." There is an elevator right by the security desk that will take you to the 4th floor. Once you exit the elevator just walk straight into the 4C event space.
