Apply Now for TRANSFORMER 2025: AI and the Future of Games April 26-27

The GGDA is proud to sponsor TRANSFORMER 2025: AI and the Future of Games, an interdisciplinary assembly bringing together academics, artists, game developers, and entrepreneurs at Kennesaw State University to explore the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and games. On April 26 and 27, 2025 attend discussions, hands-on workshops, and interactive play to examine AI’s impact on game design, storytelling, player engagement, and the broader cultural landscape.
TRANSFORMER invites proposals for in-person presentations, workshops, demos, and posters that engage with AI and games from diverse perspectives, including but not limited to:
AI-driven game design and development
Procedural content generation and adaptive storytelling
AI as a creative partner in game art, music, and narrative
The ethics of AI in gaming: biases, agency, and control
AI-enhanced player experiences and dynamic game worlds
Human-AI interaction in game environments
The business and industry impact of AI on game production and distribution
Transformer welcomes contributions from academics, industry professionals, and independent creators. Sessions should be designed to be engaging and accessible to a diverse audience. Workshops and demos should include hands-on or interactive elements where possible.
Submission Details:
The CFP is open until February 28, 2025.
Proposals should include a title, abstract (300 words max), format (presentation, workshop, demo, or poster), and presenter details (name, affiliation, and contact information).
Submissions will be reviewed based on relevance, originality, and potential impact.
Selected participants will be notified by mid-March.
